Keeper Hugo Lloris insists Tottenham must focus all their efforts on beating Sunderland on the final day of the season and hope Arsenal slip up enabling Spurs to claim a Champions League berth. Spurs are a point behind their north London rivals, with an inferior goal difference so have to secure victory, and hope Arsenal do not win.
On the official club website, Lloris said: "We can't think about the Arsenal result, we have to think about our performance, we need three points and from there, we can see what happens.
"It won't be easy. Sunderland have good players, a good team and when we played against them in December, it was a tough game. That was a good result for us.
"It has been difficult for them and a number of teams concerned with relegation.
"Paolo Di Canio has realised his objective, he has saved the team in the Premier League and it is never easy to play against a team that has no pressure."
