Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was delighted with victory over Arsenal.

It was the Frenchman's first North London derby.

"It was a great game with great intensity, I could feel that on the pitch," Lloris told the Spurs website.

"It's an important win. I think we kept control during the game, maybe we had some difficulty the first 20 minutes but we didn't conceded a lot of opportunities and after the first and second goals, key for us.

"After the Arsenal goal we kept good intentions to the end of the game, but we had a great lucidity and it was a great performance."
