Tottenham keeper Gomes: Premiership move has made me better player

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes says moving to England has improved him as a player.

Gomes concedes he struggled when first arriving from PSV Eindhoven.

"In England there is a lot of physical contact, and, of course, the famous aerial game," the Brazilian told Globoesporte.

"When I arrived, I certainly had a hard time staying on my feet because of the constant contact.

"But in training I got the hang of it. Today, I'm a more complete goalkeeper because of how I adapted to the English style."
