Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has no doubts about the ability of Manchester United counterpart David de Gea.

De Gea and United are at Spurs on Sunday.

Friedel, 40, insisted: "People need to give De Gea some credit for some great saves.

"He came with a big price tag and he's following Edwin van der Sar and Peter Schmeichel.

"The problem is that, at United, you need results yesterday."
