Tottenham keen on Wigan’s Figueroa

Tottenham are believed to be eyeing Wigan left-back Maynor Figueroa for a potential January swoop.

The Honduran has grabbed the headlines since his 60-yard goal against Stoke City on the weekend and the latest club to show their interest is Spurs.

Harry Redknapp is reportedly putting together a £6million offer for the 26-year old but will need to bring in some money before any dealings so may offload 20-year old winger Gareth Bale who has failed to make an impression at White Hart Lane since crossing from Southampton in 2007.
