Tottenham want to bring FC Twente goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov back to England.
The Bulgaria international has revived his career in Holland after coming through the system at Liverpool.
Spurs are being linked with Mihaylov as they prepare to sell Heurelho Gomes in January.
The youngster would arrive as competition for No1 Brad Friedel and groomed to eventually succeed the veteran.
