Tottenham are understood to be interested in Borussia Dortmund's Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Spurs have joined their north London rivals Arsenal in the race to sign the 26-year-old, however it is believed both Premier League clubs will face stiff competition from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Sky Sports are reporting the Gunners have already tabled a £31.8million offer for Aubameyang, who notched 25 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances for Dortmund last campaign.

However, France Football claims PSG have already commenced talks with both Aubameyang and his management team.

It is understood that Dortmund are reluctant to sell the Central African forward, but will consider it should the right offer come along.
