English Premier League outfit Tottenham is the latest club to be linked with LA Galaxy star David Beckham. A report in the London Evening Standard suggests that the 35-year old midfielder is being targeted for a potential loan deal to join Spurs in January.

With the MLS off-season currently in full swing, Beckham has plenty of time before he has to rejoin his Galaxy teammates for the 2011 season so may use the winter to join a club in either Europe or his homeland.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar was on loan with Italian giants AC Milan at the start of 2009 and earlier this year but sustained a serious Achilles injury on his second spell so the Galaxy may be wary of allowing to depart for a short-term deal again.
