Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in Inter Milan's Marco Materazzi.

The World Cup winning Italian's agent has confirmed the interest of Harry Redknapp and the Spurs.

"There is interest in England and I can say that Tottenham in recent days have expressed a real interest in Marco," Claudio Vigorelli revealed to Calciomercato.

"We are at a very early stage, they are talking with Inter and presenting something to the player - then it is up to the club and Marco to decide whether to accept or not."
