Tottenham are intensifying their pursuit of Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Sam Slocombe.
Slocombe is wanted by Spurs as cover for Brad Friedel.
The 23-year-old is also being checked by a couple of Championship sides, but the chance to go to White Hart Lane as a squad man might have considerably more appeal for him.
