Tottenham is increasingly confident of sealing a deal for Argentine defender Juan Foyth.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham expect talks to develop over the next 24 hours for Estudiantes defender Foyth.

The 19-year-old has been left out of the Argentine club's squad for the Copa Sudamericana match against Nacional in Paraguay on Wednesday.

Tottenham are also considering making a cut-price offer for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley as the 23-year-old faces three months out with a torn hamstring.
