Tottenham are planning a cash-plus-player swap for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

The Sunday Mirror says Tottenham are set to make a £20million bid for Brazilian star ­Damiao.

And they will let ­goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes move back to his homeland as part of the deal.

Manager Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed his interest in the 23-year-old Leandro, who was top scorer in last summer's Olympic football ­tournament with six goals.

His club Internacional of Porto Alegre are ­willing to take £15m in cash for the striker plus Gomes.

That would suit both Tottenham and Gomes.
