Tottenham in talks with Uber, but...

Tottenham have held talks with Uber - though not about naming rights for their new stadium.

The London Evening Standard says if there is any arrangement, it is likely to concern transport to and from the ground, which will have a capacity of 61,000.

Tottenham hope to move into the stadium, adjacent to where White Hart Lane currently stands, at the start of the 2018-19 season.

The stadium itself will cost about £400million though the bill for the entire stadium project is likely to be closer to £750m.

To ease the financial burden, Spurs have agreed to stage NFL games at their new home and are looking for a British-record deal on naming rights.
