Tottenham icon Gary Lineker feels Harry Redknapp's team have the potential to be something special.
While the former England skipper does not feel Spurs are quite ready to start claiming major silverware, he feels it could be just a matter of time.
Lineker said: "I couldn't say that they're the best Spurs side I've seen yet, because they've got to get a bit stronger and get a few more results first. But they've already got the potential to be one of the great Tottenham sides.
"If they can just make themselves a bit harder to penetrate they would have a bit of everything.
"You can already see they've got a terrific squad and a big one, although Harry is right that maybe they're one or two players short of that now.
"We were in the same position in 1991, just a couple of players short, but then the club ran into financial turmoil. That won't happen this time."
