Tottenham and Chelsea icon Glenn Hoddle is being lined up for a return to English football by Stockport County.
The People says former England boss Hoddle will be asked to run County and bring his Spanish-based talent academy to Edgeley Park in a remarkable move.
County went into the Conference for the first time, short of cash and players, but now a group of Stockport 'celebrity' supporters have got together and are in advanced talks with the owners.
And Hoddle, the man who worked at the top of his profession with Tottenham and Chelsea, is part of their masterplan to put the Hatters back on the map.
