Tottenham are hoping to squeeze another £1 million from Stoke City for Wilson Palacios and Peter Crouch.
The London Evening Standard says Stoke have made a bid in the region of £16million for Tottenham duo Crouch and Palacios.
Spurs are keen to sell as they look to raise funds to sign Lassana Diarra from Real Madrid, who are ready to lower their original demand for £17m to help make the deal happen. Spurs were thought to be holding out for a combined fee of £20m but may accept the offer as they seek to raise funds to pursue Diarra, who Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp signed for Portsmouth in 2008.
