Rumours linking Olivier Dacourt with Bologna have been scuttled by representatives of the player.

A new link with Tottenham has been created after it was believed the club held talks with the Frenchman's reps but a stay at Inter looks more likely every day.

"Bologna? I don't think that this is going to happen," Dacourt's Italian representative Giorgio De Giorgis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"If he had taken this offer seriously, he would already had made a decision, which is not the case.

"We hope we will find another solution. Parma call us almost every day despite they have plenty of midfielders. Dacourt is flattered.

"He could safely remain at Inter."
