Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has backed Mauricio Pochettino for the manager's job at White Hart Lane.
The Southampton boss continues to be heavily linked with the Spurs vacancy after the north London club sacked Tim Sherwood last week.
Pochettino, who guided the Saints to an eighth-place finish on the Premier League table in 2013/14, is reportedly wanted by Tottenham and the interest has been welcomed by ex-player and manager Hoddle.
"I think Pochettino is a super young manager," he told talkSPORT.
"He has done a brilliant job at Southampton and I think he would be a very good acquisition for Tottenham.
"I've been very impressed with the way he's had Southampton playing this year and I think, with the squad at Tottenham, he could do real wonders there."
