Real Sociedad have confirmed that they have had no contact with Tottenham over stopper Asier Riesgo. The highly-rated keeper spent time on trial with Spurs earlier this month with a view to a January switch to White Hart Lane.
The 26 year old enjoyed his stint in North London and was hoping to seal a move.
But Sociedad club sources have confirmed that no deal is in place.
"After the trial we were expecting some movement from Spurs, but as of today we have not received a call about the subject," a club source told skysports.com.
