Alan Pardew believes a vital three-minute period proved to be the difference in Crystal Palace's 1-0 loss to Tottenham on Sunday.
The Palace boss told Sky Sports he believed the pivotal moment in the contest came after Spurs shot-stopper Hugo Lloris pulled off a stunning save to deny Bakary Sako in the 65th minute.
Just three minutes later, Palace goalkeeper Alex McCarthy allowed Son Heung-min's strike to go through his legs for what proved to be the winning goal.
"The game hinged on those three minutes. [Lloris'] save was unbelievable, and then three minutes later the goal at the other end which we should stop, and our goalkeeper should stop it," Pardew said.
"He's unlucky because he hits it hard, but I think he would still want to save that and I'd want him to save it."
