Tottenham fullback Gilberto is ready to go one-on-one with Brazil teammate Robinho when they face Manchester City.
"Robinho is a wonderful player and difficult to defend against because of his pace and skill," Gilberto told the club's website. "He's not all about strength, he is a flair player, and he is so dangerous when he is on the ball.
"Since the Premier League is so physical, I thought Robinho may have problems settling in at first, so his form has surprised me.
"But he is playing with happiness, which is the most important thing, and he's just playing the game he wants to play.
"However, we are playing with the same sort of happiness, which is good for us and it is showing in our performances of late.
"We kept a clean sheet on Thursday night, and if we defend as a unit, we have every chance of winning this game."
