Tottenham fullback Danny Rose facing lengthy absence

Tottenham fullback Danny Rose is set to miss the month due to injury.

The London Evening Standard says Spurs look set to be without Rose for at least the rest of the month due to a knee injury.

Rose underwent a scan on the damage, sustained in the 0-0 draw at Sunderland on January 31, last week and also visited a specialist earlier this week.

Though Tottenham have yet to deliver a verdict on his condition, the fear is that Rose will be absent for about four weeks.

Rose's absence, coupled with that of Jan Vertonghen, has left Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino reluctant to use the 3-4-2-1 formation that brought Tottenham six straight victories in December and January.
