Tottenham fullback Benoit Assou-Ekotto is ready to play again for Cameroon.

Assou-Ekotto is set to play for Cameroon next month for the first time in two years.

The left-back was named today in a 21-man squad for a friendly against Tanzania on February 6.

Assou-Ekotto refused recent call-ups because he was unhappy with the way the Cameroon team was being run but he has been persuaded to come back following a meeting with coach Jean-Paul Akono.
