Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko intends to remain the Premier League.

Marseille have shown a keen interest in the Frenchman, who Spurs only signed last summer from Newcastle for £30m.

However, Foot Mercato reports that the 27-year old prefers to join a Premier League rather than return to his homeland.

Sissoko was hugely disappointing in his debut season for Spurs and the north-London club are now hoping to recoup their losses by selling the former Toulouse man.
