Tottenham fans have urged manager Harry Redknapp to sign Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis.
Lewis was outstanding in Posh's FA Cup defeat against Spurs on Saturday.
Tottenham fans made their desire to see him at the club clear enough in the first half, chanting 'Tottenham's No 2' after three excellent saves in two minutes.
"It was pleasing to hear," admitted the former Norwich keeper. "When you are playing well it's nice to know that the people watching are recognising that.
"I must admit, though, you don't often hear opposing fans singing your praises. I've just got to keep playing well and whatever happens happens. Every footballer wants to play in the Premier League - it's the place to be - and I'm no different.
"If a Premier League club came in, it would be a difficult one to turn down but, on the other hand, you want to be playing week in, week out. It would be a decision I'd have to make if it came along."
