Tottenham and Real Betis target Raheem Lawal has been likened to Nigerian legend Sunday Oliseh.
Lawal, currently tied to Spanish Segunda B Atletico Baleares, is attracting interest from both Spurs and Betis ahead of the summer market.
Nigerian football expert Ifeanyi Abanum told tribalfootball.com: "Raheem Lawal can be compared to former Nigeria skipper and Ajax Amsterdam defender Sunday Oliseh. He is strong and comfortable on the ball. He is always ready to take on opposing defenders, but I believe he overdoes it some times. I would say he is yet to fully develop his skills in that regard.
"Baleares believe they can make more money on him next year. But the player is keen to move on having played at Baleares for four years now and the club will not want an unsettled player."
Work permit problems could thwart Tottenham in their bid to land Lawal.
As allnigeriasoccer.com's Abanum adds: "Tottenham must invoke the Special Talent Clause if they are interested in signing Raheem Lawal. He is one of Nigeria's most promising talents.
"He is expected to make his full international debut on May 23 when Nigeria meets Peru in a high profile international friendly in Lima."
