Tottenham will compete in the Audi Cup alongside Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and AC Milan in August. The pre-season tournament held every two years at the Allianz Arena.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino admitted his delight at his players being able to test their abilities against some of the best clubs in Europe.

"The Audi Cup will provide us with a great opportunity to take on top-class opposition in a fantastic stadium," he told Spurs' official website.

"It will be a good test for our squad and I am sure our fans will enjoy this experience too. This competition will also form an important part of the final stages of our preparations with the Premier League season beginning just a few days later.
