Tottenham are chasing Maltese superkid Aidan Friggieri.

The 16 year-old is rated the best talent to emerge from Malta in modern times and is currently a first teamer with Sliema Wanderers.

Friggieri had trials with Lazio in preseason and remains in contact with the Rome club.

TMW, meanwhile, says Tottenham have been following his progress this season, where their Italian football chief Franco Baldini has been tipped off about his emergence.

A trial period at Spurs Lodge has not been discounted for Tottenham staff to take a closer look at the teen.
