Tottenham already have drawn up plans to replace unsettled striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Daily Mail says Spurs are trailing Dinamo Zagreb's Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic, 23, with Pavlyuchenko expressing a desire to leave.
