Tottenham are eyeing Bologna left-back Adam Masina.

The 23-year-old was born in Morocco but represented Italy at Under-21 level and has been tipped for a call-up to the senior squad.

He has just 18 months left on his contract at Bologna, where he is a regular in Serie A, and could be available for a knockdown fee next summer if not in the new year.

The Mirror says Spurs are running checks on Masina as they brace themselves for Danny Rose 's exit.

Manchester United want to sign the England defender in January and Masina is among Mauricio Pochettino's targets should Spurs agree to let him go.

Sevilla are also keen on Masina and will rival any Tottenham move to land him.
