Redknapp asked the man who beat him to the England job for his opinion of his former centre-back.
Sweden international Olsson, 29, said: "I've got one more year left and have started to think about my future. I'm happy where I am and I like where the club is heading.
"At the same time, it would be fun to try something new.
"I've been here for four years now and perhaps it is not wise to become too rooted in one place."
