Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason is looking forward to the first game of the season at White Hart Lane.

Spurs haven't played at White Hart Lane since last campaign and are eagerly anticipating the visit of Stoke City on Saturday according to Mason.

"We haven't had a pre-season game at the Lane this year so it's exciting to be playing there for the first time this season on Saturday," said the 24-year-old to the club's official website.

"We all want to put on a performance and get the three points to make it a special day for everyone.

"I thought we were unlucky against United, but Stoke at home is going to be a difficult game as well. But it's our ground and we'll be confident of picking up the points."
