Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to dip into the Dutch transfer market to stiffen his defence.

PSV Eindhoven defender Javier Rodriguez, known as 'Maza', is said to be keen to head for the Premier League.

The News of the World says the Mexico international has already been the subject of talks between the two clubs, according to his father Francisco Rodriguez Pereyra.

Rodriguez has been in Holland since 2008 and could provide centre-back cover for Ledley King.
