Liverpool are being encouraged to bid for Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka.

The Daily Mail says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has told manager Harry Redknapp he must move on one or two players before adding to his own squad this month.

Croatia defender Corluka, linked with a move to Liverpool, could be one to leave White Hart Lane.

The versatile fullback has also attracted interest from Juventus.
