Tottenham have moved past the fourth round of the Capital One Cup thanks to a penalty shootout win over Hull City at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Spurs won 8-7 in the shootout after extra-time finished 2-2 courtesy of a 108th minute equaliser from young gun Harry Kane.
Gylfi Sigurdsson opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 16th minute with a delightful long range strike before Spurs keeper Brad Friedel conceded an own-goal early in the second half.
Paul McShane headed Hull ahead in the 99th minute but Kane saved Tottenham's blushes by forcing the game into penalties with a leveller from outside the area.
During the shootout, Friedel redeemed himself for his earlier blunder by saving efforts from Aaron McLean and Ahmed Elmohamady to send the home side through to the quarter-finals.
