Tottenham's plans for a new stadium have gathered momentum after they reached an agreement with Archway Sheet Metal Works.
The metal works company is based on Paxton Rd, adjacent to White Hart Lane, but were not interested in relocating which would allow Spurs to extend onto their site.
However, a private deal has been struck between Archway and Spurs after a lengthy court battle saw them remain at loggerheads and the 56,000-seat stadium extension will now go ahead.
A short statement on the club's official website read: "Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Archway Sheet Metal Works Ltd and the Josif Family (Archway) are delighted to announce that a private agreement has been reached for the purchase of Archway's property on Paxton Road by the club.
"In order to allow Archway to relocate its business appropriately, the club will not take possession of the land until later this year."
Tottenham will take over the land next year before construction sees north Londoners move temporarily out of 'the Lane' for the 2016/17 season.
