Stoke striker Peter Crouch believes his old team Tottenham are title contenders. Spurs travel to the Potters on Saturday hoping to make it seven league wins in a row and keep the pressure up on the top two.
When asked whether his former employers could challenge for the title, the 30-year-old told Sky Sports: "I don't see why not.
"They certainly have the players and I think the manager believes in them.
"They have so much threat with the forwards they have got, the two wingers, [Luka] Modric and [Scott] Parker in the middle, they have so much quality all over the pitch.
"The only thing about winning the title is the confidence and the belief that you can do it.
"Man United have been there and done that so they always a threat and City on fire at the moment.
"But I would certainly put Tottenham there or thereabouts when the league title is decided at the end of the season. They are playing some unbelievable football at the moment, it's a joy to watch."
