Tottenham have agreed to drop their asking price for Sevilla target Didier Zokora.

The Daily Star says Spurs wanted £10m for the out-of-favour Ivory Coast ­international who is surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.

But Harry Redknapp is now ready to accept between £7m and £8m for Zokora and Seville expect to complete the deal by the end of the week.
