Tottenham are determined not to sell Gareth Bale this summer - for any price.
Manchester United have launched a £60 million offer for the Welshman today.
But the Telegraph says Spurs are determined to hold on to Bale and have already informed Real Madrid, who made the Wales international their No 1 target under new coach Carlo Ancelotti, that they'd be wasting their time making an offer. It is understood Real are now looking elsewhere.
United are strongly interested in Bale but know that it will be extremely difficult to sign him this summer and are aware of Spurs's stance, which is not expected to change.
