Tottenham Hotspur have rubbished rumours they have launched a bid to install Jose Mourinho as manager at White Hart Lane.

Reports suggested that Spurs have put together an 'attractive package' to lure the former Chelsea boss across London.

But a Spurs spokesman told Sportsmail : "We have a manager. We expect the speculation but the chairman [Daniel Levy] has expressed his support for Martin Jol. Everyone is looking for results to turn around and we are all sure they will."
