Tottenham are demanding a major rental fee from Portsmouth to take Kyle Naughton on-loan.

The Mirror says Naughton's chances of a game are limited after the Carling Cup exit and Portsmouth head the chasing pack who want him for the next three months.

The former Sheffield United defender wants to play but Spurs are looking for his £12,000-a-week wages to be paid in full and a six-figure loan fee on top, making it an expensive deal.
