Despite rumours linking him with a move away, Tottenham are adamant that star striker Harry Kane is going nowhere.
Kane is coming off the best 12 months of his career, finishing as the Golden Shoe winner for most goals in the top European leagues. He beat out the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Lewandowski and Cavani to grab that title.
And it is no surprise to see the likes of Real Madrid linked with Kane, especially given the poor recent form of Karim Benzema.
However, reports in the English media suggest that Spurs will not even entertain the prospect of Kane being sold, given his importance to the club. They believe an improved contract offer in the summer will convince him to commit his medium-term future to the club.
"I'm 100 per cent confident. Every single player that we want to keep, I can assure you will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
"Mauricio's strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very difficult window."
