Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen is up for his clash with Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
He talks with calm confidence about the prospect of Spurs completing a first League double over United since 1989/90 as though it is something to be expected rather than merely craved.
"They've let in a lot of goals this season, more than ever," Vertonghen told the London Evening Standard. "Our win there gave us confidence for this game.
"They have scored a lot of goals this year but we have a very strong attack, maybe one of the best in the League, and we're much tighter at the back so those two things give us the confidence maybe to beat United.
"I don't recall ever marking Robin before. This is why I came to the Premier League, to face players like that. I know these players well and then it's just about quality - we will see who is better."
