Tottenham defender Michael Dawson wants to take the FA Cup seriously.

Dawson is hoping Spurs can go on a long cup run.

"We want to win the cup, definitely," he said. "A trip to Wembley and winning it would be amazing but you have got to earn the right to do that.

"We were in the semis in 2010 and it's great. The FA Cup is special. We put a changed team out against Cheltenham and they did a professional job."
