Michael Dawson has hailed the impact made by new Tottenham signing Wilson Palacios.

A point against Arsenal means Spurs are still in 15th place in the Barclays Premier League, although they were encouraged by the home debut of £14million midfielder Palacios.

"Wilson was fantastic," Dawson said.

"I stood behind him and he took a lot of pressure off us. He was winning balls and they were not really getting to us too often. That was down to Wilson and the rest of the boys in midfield."
