Tottenham's Steven Caulker is delighted to be preparing for the upcoming Olympic Games.
The defender, who spent last season on loan with Swansea City, has been selected in Stuart Pearce's Team Great Britain squad for the 2012 Games and cannot wait to become an Olympian on home soil.
"When I was told I was in the initial squad of 35 I just hoped I would get the call," he told Spurs' official website. "The call came and now it's a case of getting ready for the Olympics.
"I'm delighted to be part of it and the fact it's here in Britain means it will be a huge event and something I'll no doubt look back on for many, many years."
