Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong has reaffirmed hopes of a move to QPR in January.
A proposed switch to local rivals QPR collapsed over the summer.
"Everyone knew the QPR move was close but in football sometimes weird things happen and the deal wasn't done," he said.
Bassong has been dropped from the Cameroon national side since falling out of favour at Tottenham but hopes his appearances in Europe and the Carling Cup will keep him on their radar.
He said: "I got dropped at Tottenham for no reason and I lost my place in the national team as well so that was a tough moment for me but since I've been playing a bit more I'm confident of returning to the national team."
