Tottenham may not need to beat Liverpool on Sunday to qualify for the Europa League.
The London Evening Standard says Tottenham could qualify for next season's Europa League regardless of whether they pip Liverpool to fifth place after the latest Fair Play table was announced by the Premier League yesterday.
Chelsea top the list but have already secured Champions League football next season. Fulham are tied for second place with Spurs, who would take the additional European spot - expected to be awarded to an English club by UEFA - if they finished level courtesy of their higher League position.
The latest figures are up to April 30, since when, Fulham had five players booked in Monday's defeat to Liverpool while Spurs had three yellow carded against Blackpool on Saturday and only Steven Pienaar disciplined in last night's 1-0 loss against Manchester City at Eastlands.
