Tottenham have confirmed that striker Robbie Keane has left the club to join Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy.
The 31-year old has joined David Beckham at The Home Depot Center and the transfer will be completed subject to an international visa.
Spurs confirmed the move with a statement on their official website: "The club can announce that it has reached agreement with Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy for the permanent transfer of Robbie Keane."
The statement added: "We wish him all the best for the future."
Keane had been attracting interest from the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Bolton but will now be plying his trade in North America's domestic league for at least the next two seasons.
