Tottenham have announced the appoint of Paul Mitchell as the club's new head scout.
The 33-year old departed his role at Southampton to take up the job as Head of Recruitment and Analysis at White Hart Lane.
Mitchell, a former Wigan Athletic and MK Dons midfielder, will oversee a team of scouts around Europe as well as analysing the club's current players in a bid to improve the on-field performance of Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The move will see Mitchell and Pochettino reunite after working closely together during a successful spell at St Mary's with Southampton.
